Hi Mom,
Summer is a great time to spend some extra
quality time with the family since the kids
are home from school. But by now you may
have heard "I'm bored", "I need a snack",
"What's for dinner" and "I'm still bored"
more than enough and you're actually
starting to look forward to school starting
in a few weeks.
Don't feel bad, we feel exactly the same
way. That's why we've put a little care
package together for all us stressed out
moms, to help us make it through the end of
summer break.
I'm Bored Mom Solution:
Let's start by giving these kids something
to do. Here are some great ideas for
things your kids can do with you or on their
own.

You may also want to keep an eye on the
Menu Planning Central Blog. We just
started a whole series on fun food
activities that will keep your little ones
busy and entertained while teaching them
valuable life skills.
I'm Hungry Solution:
If I had a penny for every time I've heard
"I'm hungry", "What's for dinner", or "I
need a snack" this summer, I'd be a rich
woman by now. Of course those statements are
usually followed by me doing some sort of
meal preparation and cooking. Well, enough
is enough and I've enlisted the help of
hubby and the kids for the rest of the
summer. Ready to do the same? Here are some
easy recipes for hubby, the kids and moms to
fix along with my recommendations for
kid-friendly restaurants for those days when
no one feels like cooking.

Exercise As Stress Relief Solution:
Last but not least it's time to do something
for yourself... and one of the best ways to
battle stress is to get some sort of
exercise. Go take a short walk. You'll be
surprised how much better you feel
immediately. Here are some other great
summer exercise ideas for you.
