Toasted Strawberry Covered French Bread
Back-To-School time is always hectic, so you need something scrumptious to make your family stop in their tracks long enough to eat breakfast. When you place this pretty, sweet, and toasty breakfast in front of your hungry family, they’ll pause for at least a few minutes as they rush through their morning.
1 (8 oz.) loaf of French bread, cut into slices
1 (8 oz.) carton of spreadable cream cheese
1 T of honey
1 (10 oz.) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
1/4 C of strawberry jelly, warmed
Preset the oven temperature to 375 degrees.
Arrange the bread slices in a single layer into the bottom of ungreased 13X9 baking dish.
Bake the bread for 3 minutes then turn and continue baking an additional 3 minutes or until crisp.
Place the cream cheese and honey into a mixing bowl and beat until smooth.
Spread the mixture over one side of each slice of bread.
Top each slice of bread with the sliced strawberries and drizzle with the warm jelly.
