Very good point about the safety of treats for Halloween. I do recommend making homemade treats ONLY for your own family and friends. Thanks for the reminder, Kenna!

I notice there are nuts in some of the treats for kiddies at Halloween. So many children seem to be allergic to nuts now that I don't think that's a good idea. Also, here in Canada - it may be different there - homemade treats are often thrown out by vigilant parents as they're not considered safe. Due to some really crazy people who have tried to ruin Halloween trick or treating for the youngsters by putting razor blades in apples, etc. You may have heard of that. It's not common but many children are also aware that they're not allowed to accept homemade treats. I guess if you're having a party with children and parents you know then that's different. I think the recipes are great, by the way, just a word of caution here from a grandmother and mom.
